• “Mayorla Agent” means an individual officially verified, documented, and recognized by Mayorla Properties as part of its agent network.

• “Third-Party Agent” or “External Agent” refers to any property agent, broker, marketer, or representative not formally affiliated with Mayorla Properties.

• “Listings” refers to property details, images, pricing, descriptions, or related information available through the Platform.

2. Scope of Services

Mayorla Properties provides a platform where users can:

• View property listings

• Connect with vetted Mayorla Agents

• Request support from the Mayorla administrative team

• Access verified real estate information

Mayorla is not a law firm, financial institution, or escrow provider.

3. Accuracy of Information

Mayorla strives to verify all information published by its agents. However:

• Property availability, pricing, features, and conditions may change without notice.

• Mayorla does not guarantee that all listings are free from typographical errors or inaccuracies.

• Users are responsible for conducting independent verification before making any financial commitment.

4. Third-Party Agents Disclaimer (Very Important)

4.1 Mayorla Is Not Responsible for Third-Party Agents

If a User interacts with, visits a property through, or conducts any transaction with an agent who is not a verified Mayorla Agent, such interaction is strictly at the User’s own risk.

Mayorla Properties:

• Does not endorse external agents

• Does not vet their listings

• Does not guarantee their legitimacy

• Is not liable for any loss, scam, fraud, misrepresentation, or financial damage arising from dealing with such agents

4.2 Zero Liability for External Transactions

Mayorla Properties shall bear no responsibility for:

• Fake listings shared by non-Mayorla agents

• Payments made to non-Mayorla agents

• Property inspections arranged outside the Mayorla platform

• Disputes, disagreements, or failures in service involving external agents

4.3 User Obligation Regarding Property Inspections

Before visiting any property not listed by a verified Mayorla Agent, Users must:

• Notify and confirm with the Mayorla Admin Team via the official Mayorla admin chat/page

• Request verification on whether the agent or listing is legitimate

Failure to follow this step constitutes a voluntary assumption of risk, and Mayorla shall not be held liable for any resulting issue.

5. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Use the platform legally and ethically

• Verify all payment instructions directly with Mayorla before transferring money

• Avoid sharing confidential personal information with third-party agents

• Follow inspection and verification protocols established by Mayorla

• Report suspicious listings or agents immediately

6. Agent Responsibilities

Only approved Mayorla Agents may represent Mayorla’s brand or listings.

Unauthorized use of the Mayorla identity, branding, or materials by third parties is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Mayorla is not liable for the actions of:

• Former agents

• Agents impersonating Mayorla

• Agents operating independently without updated Mayorla authorization

7. Payments & Transactions

7.1 Mayorla Does Not Accept Liability

Mayorla Properties is not responsible for:

• Payments made to incorrect accounts

• Payments made to third-party agents

• Failed transactions outside the platform

• Losses arising from User negligence or failure to verify payment details

7.2 No Refund Liability for Third-Party Deals

Mayorla does not provide refunds for transactions conducted outside its verified channels.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Mayorla Properties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our platform or dealings with any agent (Mayorla or third-party).

• Mayorla shall not be held responsible for property defects, disputes, environmental issues, landlord actions, or market fluctuations.

Users engage with property owners, agents, and third parties at their own discretion and risk.

9. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mayorla Properties, its team, agents, directors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or legal expenses arising from:

• Interactions with third-party agents

• Violation of these Terms

• Misuse of the platform

• Misrepresentation by external parties

• Failure to verify agent identity through Mayorla

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform—including logos, branding, text, images, and designs—is the exclusive property of Mayorla Properties and may not be copied, reused, or reproduced without permission.

11. Amendments

Mayorla reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
